KABC, Channel 7<\/a> recently\u00a0revealed where to get the BEST SLIDERS (Mini Burgers) and it recommended\u00a0we try Charlie Palmer at Bloomingdale’s<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0South Coast Plaza.\u00a0 Although they named the “Top 7 Slider Restaurants in\u00a0Los Angeles,”\u00a0they noted that Charlie Palmer’s<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0Orange County\u00a0has\u00a0exceptional Sliders too —\u00a0I just tried\u00a0two of the three.<\/p>\n

I had the Kobe Beef Slider and the PBLT (Pork Belly, Lettuce\u00a0& Tomato) Slider.\u00a0\u00a0And before I even took a bite of the Kobe Beef Burger, I knew\u00a0it was the Best Slider I’ve ever had.\u00a0 Seriously, it’s aroma put me at the best backyard BBQ on a sunny day.\u00a0 I usually don’t write this flowery, but it was that amazing to me.<\/p>\n

And the PBLT was also surprisingly good.\u00a0 “Surprisingly” because I’m generally a visible\u00a0fat avoider —\u00a0I trim all meat.\u00a0 For that reason I haven’t gravitated towards Pork Belly, but I just went for it.\u00a0 The texture was tender, not chewy as feared, but more like a thick slab of Bacon, which I love.<\/p>\n

Both Sliders are worth traveling for.\u00a0 Pictured above (L-R) PBLT, Kobe Beef & Kobe Beef —\u00a0We haven’t yet tried the Crab Cake Slider, but may need to.\u00a0 There’s more to this meal, but\u00a0Charlie Palmer’s<\/a>\u00a0Sliders\u00a0deserve\u00a0a\u00a0showcase.<\/p>\n
