Continuing our tour of\u00a0Casino Buffets, Nibbles of Tidbits recently enjoyed the Lunch Buffet\u00a0at Choices<\/a> inside Pala Casino Spa Resort<\/a>.\u00a0 We’re\u00a0not\u00a0major Buffet fans, but find many of the Indian Reservation Casino Buffets\u00a0quite impressive and an amazing deal, especially if you join a Player’s Club.\u00a0 You’ll need to check the details for\u00a0each Casino, but a\u00a0free or\u00a0discounted\u00a0Lunch or Dinner Buffet is often a perk of joining a Player’s Club.\u00a0 At Pala Casino,\u00a0it’s called\u00a0a Privileges Card<\/a>\u00a0— It affords\u00a0a 20 – 100% discount relative to one’s gambling practices.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately our photos don’t capture the full grandeur of Choices Buffet<\/strong>, thus it’s recommended that you try it yourself.\u00a0 They offer almost everything you can think of… Seafood, Mexican food, Chinese food, Japanese food, an extensive Salad Bar, fresh Fruit, American favorites, Italian food, every Dessert you can imagine, plus more.\u00a0 And it’s the first Buffet\u00a0we’ve seen serve Leg of Lamb during lunch —\u00a0All you can eat Lamb,\u00a0shucked Oysters and peel and eat ’em Shrimp is a deal in itself,\u00a0without mentioning the Ribs, Ham, Turkey, Chicken, Salmon Fajitas, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, etc.<\/p>\n

Pala Casino\u00a0takes a lot of pride in Choices Buffet<\/strong> and wants\u00a0its customers to truly enjoy their experience.\u00a0 It’s well kept, clean, fully stocked and ready to be served.\u00a0 We found the service and attention to detail\u00a0remarkable.\u00a0 They’re excited to present their\u00a0remodeled Buffet (reopened Memorial Day 2009) and interested in customer feedback.\u00a0\u00a0They want to make Choices the best Buffet\u00a0in town.<\/p>\n

\"Pala<\/a><\/p>\n

We’ve learned that\u00a0Indian Reservation Casino Buffets<\/a>\u00a0are\u00a0relatively progressive (I wish I’d win it) and sophisticated.\u00a0 Gone are the days of cheap\u00a0Buffet food — There’s a lot of competition.\u00a0 Casino Buffets are\u00a0quite\u00a0the production,\u00a0prepared and maintained by a team of\u00a0attentive chefs and staff.\u00a0 Food is often presented as art, as shown by\u00a0the flower\u00a0carved out of a Watermelon and\u00a0a dove carved from\u00a0I’m not sure what.<\/p>\n

As of this date, we think Choices\u00a0may have the best Desserts\u00a0seen thus far.\u00a0 We haven’t found any\u00a0Buffets\u00a0lacking\u00a0Desserts, but we’re extra impressed with the Dessert case pictured directly below.\u00a0 In addition to offering almost every imaginable Dessert outside the case, those presented below are extra special.\u00a0 To me, it was like visiting an expensive bakery after the Buffet, whereas you get to pick and eat whatever you want for free.\u00a0 Elsewhere, each gourmet item may cost $5.\u00a0 You always want more than you can afford — Here you can just go for it.<\/p>\n

It was hard to narrow down our selection of Choice’s Desserts, but we ultimately decided on\u00a0the Mango Mousse Tower, Tiramisu Mug and Raspberry Mousse Tower (clockwise below).\u00a0\u00a0We’re not sure of their actual names and\u00a0describe them by taste and design.\u00a0 All looked like a work of art.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Pala Casino is situated in a valley among beautiful hills — Below is just one view from the deck near the Food Court, close to\u00a0more dining offered\u00a0at Pala Casino.\u00a0 After this visit, we deem Choices to be one of our favorite Lunch Buffets.<\/p>\n

Although not captured in this post, Choices’ design is worth mentioning.\u00a0 Our Interior Designer (Guest Blogger<\/a> Bonnie) would have approved.\u00a0 We particularly liked the giant monitors displayed throughout.\u00a0 Each had incredible rotating food images to help get you in the mood.\u00a0 Make sure you bring your appetite to this\u00a0Buffet.<\/p>\n
