Top Chef New York just started, so I thought I’d give\u00a0some quick first impressions of Opening Night.\u00a0 I usually look forward to watching Top Chef — It can be an intense competition.\u00a0 I’d be way too Chicken to compete there\u00a0and wouldn’t want to get cooked.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I was reminded\u00a0how brutal it can be — You’ve gotta be a fast cook, quick thinker, good planner and beautiful presenter.\u00a0 There’s no room for error.\u00a0 Although I can make some fabulous food, I’ve made a lot of mistakes and wouldn’t want them mercilessly spotlighted.\u00a0 I do like and respect all the Judges, but yikes sometimes.\u00a0 I’d love to try the food with them.\u00a0 Can I take Ted’s place???<\/p>\n
