I received a coupon to try 4 Marie Callender’s Frozen Pie Crusts (Deep Dish Pie Shells).\u00a0 I’d always liked their Pies from the restaurant, but never tried their Frozen Pies or Frozen Pie Crusts.\u00a0 There’s a Marie Callender’s Restaurant & Bakery\u00a0down the street and fresh is always best.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

My Grandma used to make the best Pie Crusts, but it’s hard for her to do it these days.\u00a0 She now uses the Mrs. Smith’s Frozen Crusts, but says\u00a0the Marie Callender’s Crusts were very good too.\u00a0 And I thought they were surprisingly great.\u00a0 I would now choose these Frozen Pie Crusts when in need.\u00a0 The 4 Pies I made\u00a0were Blackberry with a Cinnamon Crumble Topping (above) and continuing.<\/p>\n

Orange Cream Pie with Real Whipped Cream.\u00a0 I used a Lemon Cream Pie Recipe and substituted Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice and Orange Zest for the Lemon.\u00a0 This Pie was the BEST!\u00a0<\/p>\n

Pecan Pie\u00a0from the Karo Corn Syrup Bottle Label Recipe.\u00a0 It’s good and simple.\u00a0 I add just a few extra Pecans.\u00a0 I write only a few<\/em>, because one time I added too many – HA.<\/p>\n

Custard Pie was the fourth Pie we enjoyed\u00a0during our Marie Callender’s Tour De Pies.\u00a0 I cooked the excess Custard in the toaster oven and will report the results of that later.\u00a0 It’s\u00a0fun creating\u00a0Pies when the tricky part is already done —\u00a0I’d rely on MC’s Crusts to do it for me.<\/p>\n
