My neighbor walked by when I was BBQing this.\u00a0 I thought to myself… Please don’t ask me what I’m grilling.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Hi neighbor, it smells good, what are yo<\/a>u grilling?”\u00a0<\/p>\n

What would I say?\u00a0\u00a0“UUmmmmm, a halved head of Romaine Lettuce.”\u00a0\u00a0It just sounds so,\u00a0like where’s the beef.\u00a0\u00a0I didn’t even have anything else\u00a0to tack on to\u00a0the answer.\u00a0 Thank God he didn’t ask \ud83d\ude42 .\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

I’ve loved the Grilled Romaine Salads\u00a0I’ve had\u00a0in a few restaurants and wanted to capture that same flavor, so I\u00a0gave it a try.\u00a0 And…\u00a0I HIT IT first attempt.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Wow, it’s really good.\u00a0 It’s funny that I found myself looking for the brownest Lettuce pieces\u00a0when eating it, typically uncommon with\u00a0Salads.\u00a0 A quick grilling\u00a0adds\u00a0such great flavor.\u00a0 Since I’ll\u00a0be grilling more Romaine in the future, I’ll most likely\u00a0be tacking\u00a0on a Fillet,\u00a0Hamburger, or something.<\/p>\n

The Dressing was made of White Balsamic Vinegar, Olive Oil, Dijon Mustard, Salt, Sugar, and freshly ground Pepper.\u00a0 I added\u00a0Pecan Pieces\u00a0and ate every bite, down to the very\u00a0last smokey leaf piece.\u00a0\u00a0However, Pine Nuts and Pumpkin Seeds are generally\u00a0preferred on this Salad.\u00a0<\/p>\n
