{"id":2489,"date":"2009-02-15T21:05:26","date_gmt":"2009-02-16T05:05:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ineedtext.com\/FoodBlog\/?p=2489"},"modified":"2009-03-10T11:51:17","modified_gmt":"2009-03-10T19:51:17","slug":"cooking-demonstrations-at-bloomingdales-scp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.ineedtext.com\/FoodBlog\/cooking-demonstrations-at-bloomingdales-scp\/","title":{"rendered":"Cooking Demonstrations At Bloomingdales SCP."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-2490\" title=\"misc-010\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ineedtext.com\/FoodBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/misc-010-1024x767.jpg\" alt=\"misc-010\" width=\"436\" height=\"337\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Today\u00a0Orange County Restaurant Week kicked off\u00a0its pre-event festivities with the first of 13 Cooking Demonstrations to be held at\u00a0Bloomingdale&#8217;s Home Store, South Coast Plaza.\u00a0 Chef De Cuisine Brian Black of The Loft at The Montage Laguna Beach prepared Barbecue-Braised Laughing Bird Shrimp with Warm Winter Citrus Vinaigrette, Spinach and Pine Nuts.\u00a0 It&#8217;s one of the dishes to be offered during the inaugural Orange County Restaurant Week, February 22-28, 2009.<\/p>\n<p>Participating restaurants will be serving three-course\u00a0pre-fixe lunches for $10 &amp; $20, and dinners for $20, $30 and $40.\u00a0 During that time and leading up to it, select Chefs will\u00a0demonstrate how to prepare dishes\u00a0featured\u00a0on\u00a0their respective OC Restaurant Week menus.\u00a0 It&#8217;s a good way to sample a few items and see how they&#8217;re made.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-2492\" title=\"misc-007\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ineedtext.com\/FoodBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/misc-007-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"misc-007\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-2493\" title=\"misc-012\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ineedtext.com\/FoodBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/misc-012-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"misc-012\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-2497\" title=\"misc-009-copy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ineedtext.com\/FoodBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/misc-009-copy-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"misc-009-copy\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The related Demos started today and will continue through the end of\u00a0\u00a0OC Restaurant Week.\u00a0 We&#8217;ll hopefully see and taste\u00a0more.\u00a0\u00a0Chef Manny Gomez of\u00a0Ruth&#8217;s Chris Steak House Irvine will be making Sweet Potato Casserole and Creamed Spinach at Bloomingdale&#8217;s Home Store on February 19 &#8212;
