It seems the number of Gourmet Food Trucks has grown exponentially and several were at the OC Foodie Fest<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0—\u00a0Previously noted, we were lucky enough to taste and judge many of them<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Savory Judges consisted of me, the Pig<\/a>, the guys from Food Beast<\/a> and Ryan of Foodoofus<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Various media sources were photographing all.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

As you can see, we were pretty busy eating.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

It was a little tricky\u00a0keeping track of all the food coming our way, but we managed.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And completed our score forms after each new Slider, Taco, Pizza, Hot Dog, Sandwich, etc.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Eating and scoring — Separate\u00a0Judges were assigned to the Desserts.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

You see it, we ate it.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

One favorite was the Lobster Grilled Cheese Sandwich and Gazpacho\u00a0from The Lime Truck<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We were excited to finally try The Lime Truck<\/strong> and it delivered.\u00a0 As many know they’re currently one of the top contenders on The Great Food Truck Race<\/a>.\u00a0 They put forth\u00a0a lot of personality and\u00a0impressive food.\u00a0 Didn’t make it\u00a0to the Skyy Vodka VIP Lounge — Too busy eating, judging<\/a>\u00a0and drinking\u00a0a lot of water.\u00a0 It was a hot Summer day at Angel Stadium.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Tables filled with\u00a0hand delivered food\u00a0described by proud Gourmet Food Trucks.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Kind Bars<\/a><\/strong> happened to have a booth at the event — Yeah they’re a fave!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Its representatives\u00a0were cute and kind too.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Didn’t try their\u00a0food, but liked the back of the Flavor Rush Truck.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We enjoyed the OC Foodie Fest<\/a>\u00a0at Angel Stadium<\/strong>\u00a0though wish\u00a0the trucks were on the field.<\/p>\n

Last year it was held at the Honda Center — Read about it\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
