A Segway Tour of Huntington Beach<\/a> purchased through Groupon ended up\u00a0better\u00a0than expected — The price was right, the process was seamless and riding a Segway is a blast, though I admit to being\u00a0a little scared at first.\u00a0 Now I wanna be a Mall Cop.\u00a0 Is that joke over played in\u00a0Segway circles?\u00a0 Zimzala Restaurant & Bar<\/a>\u00a0is\u00a0the\u00a0post segue\u00a0in that it’s FOOD related, we’ve enjoyed many great meals there (some pictured, others are here<\/a>), Zimzala is also BUDS with\u00a0GW Tours<\/a> and<\/em> HB Segway Tours<\/a>\u00a0offers a Segway\/Zimzala Combo Tour.<\/p>\n

We got to ride\u00a0the Segways on hard and soft sand, along\u00a0streets near downtown HB, on the beach\u00a0path, over grassy hills, and up and down ramp ways\u00a0— A fun variety of terrains.<\/p>\n

A bonus surprise of the day was running into Jack, a former co-worker, friend whom I haven’t seen in 20+ years — He happens to be Mr. HB Segway<\/strong> now.\u00a0 Super cool.\u00a0 He’s still a funny guy and provides a well run,\u00a0entertaining tour experience that starts at 120 PCH in HB.<\/p>\n

I went on\u00a0the Segway Tour<\/a> at the suggestion\u00a0of Bonnie Joy Designs<\/a>, friend and OC Interior Designer, who\u00a0called out the homophone \/ heterograph,\u00a0“segue” of the event.\u00a0 Comprende?\u00a0 If not look it up, as\u00a0I just\u00a0learned how to spell segue and\u00a0ride a Segway, though ready again.<\/p>\n
