These Scones were PERFECT.\u00a0 I’ll never need another Scone recipe.\u00a0 I mean it!\u00a0 One of my very dear friends hosted this lovely High Tea to celebrate\u00a0a couple birthdays.\u00a0 We had a wonderful time and meal.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While\u00a0getting ready to just show up, I thought to myself, she’s probably working hard right now.\u00a0 I appreciate\u00a0her efforts even before tasting the fruits of her labor.\u00a0 In particular, the Scones\u00a0were\u00a0better than any\u00a0I’ve had.\u00a0 We all said the same thing.\u00a0 She sent\u00a0a copy of\u00a0the recipe, so I attached it below.<\/p>\n

The Victorian House table\u00a0setting was cute and cozy.\u00a0\u00a0She served Tea Sandwiches, aka Canapes, made of Chicken\u00a0& Rosemary,\u00a0and Cucumber\u00a0& Cream Cheese —\u00a0Along with all was\u00a0Clotted Cream, Preserves, and Fresh Fruit.<\/p>\n

And mustn’t forget the Tea, an Orange flavored combination made by Monks.\u00a0 It was exceptionally aromatic.\u00a0 We all thought we were done when she\u00a0comes out of the kitchen with Key Lime Squares.\u00a0 Come on now.\u00a0 She did the High Tea right.<\/p>\n

The food and the company couldn’t be beat.\u00a0 Thank YOU!<\/p>\n
