Attended the Los Angeles Luxury CHOCOLATE SALON<\/a> at the Pasadena Center Ballroom.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Chocolate combined with\u00a0almost<\/em> anything —\u00a0One\u00a0darling was the Chocolate Wine<\/a>.\u00a0 Yes it did.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I was on the Salon Awards Tasting Panel<\/a> and one favorite, Ciel<\/a> tied for Best in Salon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And\u00a0David Bacco Chocolatier<\/a> (above) with a Balsamic Reduction is Top Artisan Chocolatier<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We had fun trying the heat variations\u00a0crafted by the\u00a0Monterey Chocolate Company<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

French Macarons<\/a>, who isn’t\u00a0loving them these days?!\u00a0 Cutting ’em up\u00a0just didn’t seem right.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We needed more and larger samples in most cases — A\u00a0true test you know.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

As\u00a0told<\/a>\u00a0I\u00a0mainly anticipated\u00a0the\u00a0unique\u00a0flavor combinations\u00a0to be had and most were spot on.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And the above Ciel<\/a> Gift Box would be a fantasy to receive.\u00a0 It also tied for Gold.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Chocolates were sweet, but\u00a0the space was too small and the lines were too long.<\/p>\n
