After\u00a0the Irvine Spectrum, the Cadillac Culinary Challenge Test Drive Event<\/a>\u00a0drives\u00a0on.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

As\u00a0reported<\/a>, I was one of five Food Blogger Judges at Cadillac’s<\/a> Irvine stop.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

As one lucky Judge, I got to taste the dishes prepared by Mary Sue Milliken<\/a> and Yvon Goetz<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The event’s sponsors also include Share Our Strength<\/a>, Bon App\u00e9tit and Epicurious.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Samples were delivered to the first two rows of the audience — Get to the next event<\/a> early.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Halfway through\u00a0Mary Sue’s sample the Judges were informed\u00a0they’re to\u00a0receive larger samples than the audience.\u00a0 Wow, okay.\u00a0 I quickly finished the small sample of\u00a0Ceviche to prepare for the larger sample.\u00a0 Happiness, because it was\u00a0perfectly tangy and spicy.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And then\u00a0tried Chef Yvon Goetz<\/a> dish,\u00a0Chili\u00a0Lime Rubbed Hawaiian Mahi Mahi (above).\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Both dishes were impressive and the Mad Hungry Woman wrote more about ’em here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Voting\u00a0— Three of\u00a0five Judges voted for Chef Yvon Goetz dish and two\u00a0voted for Mary Sue’s.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Beautiful, fresh ingredients were used by both.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And the winner of this challenge<\/a> was Chef Yvon Goetz.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I\u00a0voted for Mary Sue’s<\/a> Ceviche — It received the popular (audience) vote.\u00a0 No losers here.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I like\u00a0taking photos\u00a0of other bloggers taking photos of FOOD.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Before, during and after the competition, some test drove Cadillacs — Love the Escalade.<\/p>\n
