It takes months to get a reservation at Rao’s in Upper Manhattan New York.\u00a0 The\u00a0hundred year old restaurant hardly has more than ten tables in a corner of East Harlem.\u00a0 I’ve read\u00a0“the dishes are magical” and\u00a0since\u00a0I’m in California, I bought\u00a0Rao’s Cookbook.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0It’s my way in.\u00a0 I’d love to eat in the restaurant someday, but until then I THANK Anna and Frankie for the BEST Meatball Recipe ever.\u00a0 I need no other.<\/p>\n

I make the exact recipe and my own Breadcrumbs, but I bake the Meatballs instead of fry them.\u00a0 It’s a lot easier and turns out great.\u00a0 I bake them in a preheated 400\u00b0 <\/span>oven for about 25-30 minutes, and then add ’em to simmering\u00a0Marinara Sauce as noted in\u00a0No. 4\u00a0of Rao’s Recipe below.<\/p>\n

I’ve included\u00a0a link to\u00a0their\u00a0Cookbook and\u00a0posted “Anna and Frankie’s Meatballs” Recipe HERE —\u00a0They’re only served\u00a0on Wednesdays at the restaurant.\u00a0 They\u00a0really are tasty and I can now eat them all week long in California.\u00a0 I’ll also\u00a0freeze the Meatballs\u00a0individually\u00a0and reheat a few in Sauce whenever they sound good.\u00a0\u00a0It’s an easy way to be\u00a0reminded of their authentic Italian flavor and be transported to happiness.<\/p>\n
