I’d been looking\u00a0for the right Lobster Roll<\/a><\/strong> to try and it finally came along with great satisfaction — My first ever, since\u00a0they’re more popular on the East Coast.\u00a0 That’s\u00a0my excuse and\/or\u00a0they are\u00a0expensive when offered and\u00a0haven’t had\u00a0the quality ingredients sought.<\/p>\n

The Lobster Roll is\u00a0a popular special\u00a0at Santa Monica Seafood<\/a> — Generous\u00a0chunks of Lobster are tossed with a refreshing Lemon Aioli and Chives, then served on a soft Roll.\u00a0 It’s perfect.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Dine inside, on the patio,\u00a0at the Oyster Bar<\/strong> or take\u00a0something to-go from the Fish Market<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Shucking Oysters (below) — Tell them what kind you want or what you like in an Oyster.<\/p>\n

We tried the Kusshi (left) and Misty Pointe (right) — Both were superb<\/a>, especially the\u00a0MP.<\/p>\n

They have an amazing, well displayed and serviced selection at Santa Monica Seafood<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Live Lobster<\/strong>, an option I’m skipping for a while.\u00a0\u00a0See why here<\/a>\u00a0—\u00a0Too much going on.<\/p>\n

Sashimi Grade Fish<\/strong> is also available.\u00a0 Someday I’ll make Sushi.<\/p>\n

Several\u00a0kinds of Crab, Shrimp, Lobster and Fish are sold daily.<\/p>\n

Indian Candy<\/strong>, a sweet, salty and smoky\u00a0Salmon, in the\u00a0case above is a favorite.<\/p>\n

Cheese, Wine, Herbs,\u00a0cooking tools and\u00a0all necessities for a nice meal or picnic are here.<\/p>\n

Since\u00a0their re-design<\/a>\u00a0that happened about a year ago, it’s nice to dine in with a Glass of Wine.<\/p>\n

Our server, Ashley was awesome,\u00a0sweet and cool, and reminded us of Jody Foster.<\/p>\n
