Its Launch Party<\/a> at\u00a0Newport\u00a0Lexus<\/a>\u00a0was the perfect kick-off —\u00a0Tasty bites at every turn.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Wine and song to entertain.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Chocolate Raspberry Martini<\/strong> almost made me want\u00a0a Lexus.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Pulled Pork Sliders<\/strong> from the House of Blues<\/a> — Love it as a concert venue.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Cupcakes<\/strong> were gone by the time we finished\u00a0savory — Should’ve reserved one.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

A\u00a0special shout out goes to RA Sushi<\/a> — We couldn’t get enough of their Shishito Peppers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Lobster Bisque<\/strong> offered by Scott’s Restaurant & Bar<\/a> was one of our favorites.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And the Lobster Mac & Cheese<\/strong> from House of Big Fish<\/a> may be the best I’ve ever had.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\u00a0The only thing to make for dinner this week are reservations, they say.\u00a0 I think so too.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

May need to go to Sundried Tomato<\/a> to have this Chopped Salad<\/strong> (below) again.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I’ve appreciated Melissa’s Produce<\/a> for years and have a story for another time.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Where are you\u00a0dining this week?\u00a0\u00a0Polenta with Pulled Pork<\/strong>\u00a0(top) was from Cucina Enoteca<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Starfish<\/a> and a couple others ran out of food early — Wasn’t fond of that, but went elsewhere.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

An\u00a0honorable mention goes to\u00a0Slater’s 50\/50<\/a> for their Vampire Dip<\/strong> — It’s Gar-Lick-Key, but oh so darn good, and what nice servers they had.\u00a0 All was a good time.\u00a0 Thanks<\/a>!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
