There were familiar faces from Top Chef, Top Chef Masters and other popular local restaurants.<\/p>\n

The event was staffed and serviced to the hilt — Welcoming and immediately clearing\u00a0plates.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

All was top notch — From the view to the never-ending, high quality food.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Top Chef Masters Winner, Floyd’s Shrimp with\u00a0Watermelon, Arugula and\u00a0Mint was a favorite.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Do you remember Jennifer from Top Chef Season 6?<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

She served a Duck Heart Salad — I tried it.\u00a0 Check.\u00a0 Thank you.\u00a0 The end.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And there was a Salmon Roe Panna Cotta type dish — Tried it too and no can do.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Hey what’s that behind you?\u00a0 Lo siento.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The longest line was for Alan Wong’s Short Ribs with Shrimp, deservingly so.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Tender, sauced-up, slow cooked Short Ribs topped with a saut\u00e9ed Shrimp.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

It was a lot of flavor in\u00a0a beautiful, generous\u00a0dish — Impressive.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Remember Michael from Top Chef\u00a06\u00a0— He’s one of\u00a0the two brothers I could never tell apart.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Okay, I really liked his “Cold Cuts” with a liquid nitrogen type of Horseradish Cheese, I think.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Until I learned it’s Tongue, and then\u00a0slowed down on the Cold Cut party train.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Guests purchased keys to potentially unlock and take home\u00a0displayed liquor towers.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The day was a bit overcast, but still picturesque.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Perfectly cooked Lamb Loin hand\u00a0delivered by\u00a0Montage Laguna Beach servers.<\/p>\n

There was a silent and live auction to raise even more money for the important cause<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Montage Laguna Beach<\/a> grounds are exquisite.<\/p>\n

Set up (below) for the VIP after party to meet the Chefs.<\/p>\n

I feel\u00a0I already met them, as each handed me their\u00a0delicious dish — Sufficiently satisfied.<\/p>\n
