I recently ate at Tantalum Restaurant for dinner and\u00a0I’ve been kicking myself everyday since.\u00a0 Why?\u00a0 Because I didn’t have my camera to capture all the amazing dishes we experienced.\u00a0 I’m not doing this dish justice, but needed to show something to make myself feel better.<\/p>\n

The above is the only leftover — It’s Black Beer Braised Short Rib, with Root Vegetable Hash and Grilled Baby Bok Choy.\u00a0 Otherwise\u00a0we polished off the\u00a0rest at the restaurant.<\/p>\n

*\u00a0\u00a0Petite Slider Trio –\u00a0Kobe Beef\u00a0& Maytag Bleu Cheese, Short Rib\u00a0& Onion Jam, and PorkBelly\u00a0& Arugula (3 mini specialty burgers)<\/p>\n

*\u00a0 Apple & Tofu Fritters with\u00a0Caramelized Yali Pears, Kaffir Lime Aioli<\/p>\n

*\u00a0 Pan Roasted Organic Chicken Breast with Garlic Smash, Summer Beans and\u00a0Shisito Pan Sauce<\/p>\n

*\u00a0 Fried Banana Bread Pudding with Dark Rum Caramel and Tahitian Vanilla Bean Ice Cream<\/p>\n

All were\u00a0impressively presented —\u00a0Now you know why I’m kicking myself.\u00a0 It’s a great place with unique food.\u00a0 The\u00a0entrance feels\u00a0a bit like a pleasant walk down the yellow brick road, which\u00a0leads to a magnificent Harbor View, and a very cool restaurant and cozy bar areas.<\/p>\n

For the Long Beach old timers, it’s located where the former Houlihan’s used to be.\u00a0 It’s a whole new place, although\u00a0Tantalum’s been open for 3 years.\u00a0 I highly recommend it for style and taste, but it’s not inexpensive.\u00a0 You can learn more\u00a0and view the\u00a0menu\u00a0easily below.<\/p>\n
