From Alaska to California and hopefully back\u00a0for more —\u00a0I’ve never been there, but our resident photographer cruised Alaska last year and came back exclaiming\u00a0he had the ‘Best Crab Bisque’ ever.\u00a0 It was at Tracy’s King Crab Shack<\/strong><\/a> in Juneau and he couldn’t stop talking about it.<\/p>\n

I\u00a0tried to find its recipe online, but could not, thus resorted to having it shipped from Tracy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"Crab<\/a><\/p>\n

It’s not cheap (mostly due to shipping), but I learned it’s worth it — Wow!\u00a0 I see now.<\/p>\n

\"Crab<\/a><\/p>\n

Though\u00a0not as pretty as when it’s served to you in Juneau, Alaska, it cooked up flawlessly.<\/p>\n

\"Crab<\/a><\/p>\n

One has the option to add\u00a0Cream, Milk or Stock — I added\u00a0Cream, as\u00a0recommended by Tracy.<\/p>\n

\"Crab<\/a><\/p>\n

She also suggests a squeeze of Lime at the end — It has generous pieces of King Crab.<\/p>\n

\"Crab<\/a><\/p>\n

This King Crab Bisque<\/strong> is superb without a\u00a0Lime squeeze and magnificent with one.<\/p>\n

\"Crab<\/a><\/p>\n

Tracy’s King Crab Shack was recently featured on Top Chef<\/a>, as shown in a few TV pics.<\/p>\n

Chef-testants\u00a0had to quickly create a\u00a0dish with Tracy’s\u00a0Crab Legs<\/a> — The Best Legs in Town.<\/p>\n
