If I’ve ever had Mrs. Knott’s Fried Chicken<\/strong> before, I don’t remember.\u00a0 I should have, since I’ve probably been to Knott’s Berry Farm<\/a> a hundred times.\u00a0 I grew up nearby.\u00a0 Most of the time there’s a long line and I don’t like long lines.\u00a0 This day it was free and clear.\u00a0 We walked right in the very day we\u00a0resolved to stand in line for it — At Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In one of several dining room areas — It’s fairly large inside and\u00a0often full.<\/p>\n

I came\u00a0away thinking it could be\u00a0the Hot Buttermilk Biscuits they stand in line for — WOW, they are good!\u00a0 They’re warm and something special.\u00a0 And I’m not one to get excited about\u00a0Biscuits.<\/p>\n

Soup and<\/span> Salad is served with all Chicken meals —\u00a0Mrs. Knott’s Famous Fried Chicken<\/a> for us.<\/p>\n

\"Knott's<\/a><\/p>\n

It also comes with the choice of Cabbage seasoned with Ham or<\/span> Sweet Kernel Corn.<\/p>\n

\"Knott's<\/a><\/p>\n

Though the\u00a0Cabbage with Ham looks basic, it’s flavorful and rich — I’d get it again too.<\/p>\n

We split a meal, like others often do, we’re told — It’s a lot of food for one.<\/p>\n

Prices have changed\u00a0in 70+ years —\u00a0Today all is $16.99, and the same was only $0.85 in 1940.<\/p>\n

\"Knott's<\/a><\/p>\n

We\u00a0upgraded to\u00a0all White Meat — It’s $3.59 more, perhaps $0.15 back in the day?!<\/p>\n

We\u00a0like the\u00a0STAR with longevity too — Fried Chicken.\u00a0 Okay, I’ll stand in line for all.<\/p>\n
