My husband says Dami Sushi & Izakaya<\/strong><\/a> is his new favorite Sushi place.\u00a0 We were in awe over their Hamachi and Maguro (above)\u00a0—\u00a0Both were strikingly\u00a0gorgeous, fresh and delicious.<\/p>\n

It’s a hip place too.\u00a0 I didn’t take many photos, since most seats were full and I didn’t want my camera to flash in people’s faces.\u00a0 We’ve dined at their Sushi Bar a couple times since they opened a few months ago. \u00a0We\u00a0appreciate the promptly served Edamame and Pickled Vegetables.\u00a0 Upon our first visit, we were\u00a0served\u00a0Miso Soup — A nice\u00a0bonus that\u00a0varies.<\/p>\n

Everything that came out of the Sushi Bar this night looked like a work of art.<\/p>\n

We had Dami Sushi’s<\/a> Beach Roll<\/strong> (below) —\u00a0It’s made with Spicy Tuna, Crabmeat, Avocado, Gobo and Salmon and\u00a0is deep fried.\u00a0 It has an enchanting combination of flavors.\u00a0 It’s not guaranteed that yours will look exactly like ours, but\u00a0it’ll be pretty and\u00a0fresh.\u00a0 They also have an extensive, GREAT sounding menu, with several listed items I’d love to try.\u00a0 See\u00a0MENU<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Izakaya — A Japanese drinking establishment that serves food to accompany the drinks.\u00a0 A tavern or pub for after work gathering for drinks and small dishes to share.\u00a0 Dami<\/a> does it well.<\/p>\n

Dami Sushi & Izakaya<\/a>\u00a0is at the Village Circle on Beach in Buena Park — Open 5 to Midnight.<\/p>\n
