This Durty Nelly’s<\/strong> is an Irish Pub in Costa Mesa, unrelated to the\u00a0other Durty Nelly’s\u00a0at the top of the Google results — They’re in\u00a0Mallorca, The Village of Bunratty Co Clare, Nova Scotia and Perth City,\u00a0far away from this one —\u00a0I’ll get around to those someday. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Until in Spain, Ireland, Canada\u00a0and Australia\u00a0respectively, we visited the Durty Nelly’s in California — They advertise a lot in The Clipper Magazine and I drive by it often.\u00a0 I had to get\u00a0the place\u00a0out of my system — It sounds fun and its ads promote Live Music, Karaoke, Happy Hour, and 2 for 1 Lunch and Dinner.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I like all that, but we only caught the Happy Hour, which has good prices.\u00a0\u00a0It appears that Durty Nelly’s is pretty much a bar with bar food, but\u00a0in fairness they’ve got\u00a0a large pub menu and I’m not aware of their\u00a0specialties.\u00a0 We shared the Fried Macaroni & Cheese Bites, a Hamburger & Fries and an Artichoke.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The service was good, but overall\u00a0I expected a little more from the place — I’m not sure why.\u00a0 I was also hoping for\u00a0a dart board, shuffle board,\u00a0pool table, or games of some sort, but\u00a0didn’t see any.\u00a0 The appeal for me next time would be the Live Music, or a stiff Cadillac while watching people sing Karaoke, HA.<\/p>\n
