I had the best Sandwich I’ve ever had in my whole life — That’s what my employer\/attorney\/foodie friend Mike said about\u00a0Ike’s Love & Sandwiches<\/strong><\/a> in Newport Beach. \u00a0He recently had a couple Sandwiches there and told me that. \u00a0I work in the Newport Beach\/Irvine area three days a week. And now, after four consecutive work days of Sandwiches from Ike’s Love & Sandwiches<\/a>, it’s my new obsession. \u00a0Mike is right. \u00a0Ike’s makes some of the best Sandwiches I’ve ever had too.<\/p>\n

\"Ike's<\/a><\/p>\n

Pictured is the Matt Cain<\/strong> Sandwich, made with Roast Beef, Turkey, Salami, Provolone Cheese and Godfather Sauce, whatever that is. \u00a0I don’t know what it is, but it’s sure tasty. \u00a0The photo does not do it justice. \u00a0Ike’s Sandwiches<\/a> are named after famous people, different things, and some have quirky names like… Name of the Girl I’m Dating<\/strong>. \u00a0Thus far I’ve tried the Jim Rome<\/strong>, The Little Mermaid<\/strong>, Steve Jobs<\/strong> and Matt Cain<\/strong>, and all could contend for the best Sandwich ever.<\/p>\n

\"Inside<\/a><\/p>\n

It’s true — Each Sandwich is loaded with flavor.<\/p>\n

\"Line<\/a><\/p>\n

So far, the Jim Rome<\/strong>\u00a0is my favorite — It’s made with Turkey, Avocado, Cheddar Cheese, and Ike’s Red Pesto Sauce, made from Sun Dried Tomatoes, I think. \u00a0Simple ingredients, but so dang good.<\/p>\n

\"Ike's<\/a><\/p>\n

It’s busy at Ike’s Love & Sandwiches in Newport Beach<\/a>\u00a0so\u00a0we call in our Sandwiches, pick them up fairly quickly and eat ’em in our office conference room. \u00a0It’s an efficient method that’ll be in play again next week. \u00a0My sights are set on Adam Richman<\/strong>, a Sandwich made with Fried Chicken, Ham, Honey, Pesto, Avocado and Swiss. \u00a0We’ve had all on Ike’s<\/a> World Famous Dutch Crunch Bread.<\/p>\n
