I have been one of your biggest cheerleaders for years, but some of your recent decisions have been disappointing.\u00a0 It started with the cutback of Tortillas.\u00a0 Having\u00a0received 3 Tortillas with a Chicken Combo Meal since\u00a0EPL’s opening in California, the downgrade to 2 Tortillas was quite obvious and lame.\u00a0 At first I thought it was a mistake, but then learned what’s up after a few visits.\u00a0 Not good.<\/p>\n

Then one day,\u00a0NO more Chipotle Dressing for the Salads.\u00a0 Why?\u00a0 It was\u00a0tasty.\u00a0 I was eating Salads at EPL all the time.\u00a0 Dressing can mean everything to a Salad.\u00a0 That crazy decision was hard to get over.<\/p>\n

And now NO\u00a0more Chipotle Salsa —\u00a0Another\u00a0bad move.\u00a0 It was your best Salsa.\u00a0 I tried its new replacement Salsa (top left in above picture) and it’s okay.\u00a0 It has a good spice, but it’s a little too thin.\u00a0 The Chipotle Salsa went better with the Chicken and Tortillas.\u00a0 The thinner Salsa tends to make the Tortillas soggy.\u00a0 Bring back the Chipotle Salsa!<\/p>\n

El Pollo Loco you have been my favorite fast food joint for many years, but you’re acting crazy.\u00a0 You’re changing things that worked well for many.\u00a0 Can you\u00a0explain your corporate position here, or better yet,\u00a0change these things back?\u00a0\u00a0I’ll like you more.<\/p>\n

BTW, your Crunchy Taco is pretty good —\u00a0I hope its time isn’t limited, but I somehow suspect it will be.\u00a0\u00a0But PLEASE don’t take away\u00a0the Chicken.\u00a0 It’s excellent.\u00a0 I keep trying to recreate its flavor, but\u00a0haven’t\u00a0so far.\u00a0 All the copycat recipes I’ve tried miss the mark.<\/p>\n
