The event was touted as the 2008 Celebrity Food Show.\u00a0 It was heavily promoted and\u00a0looked enticing, so I went with a friend.\u00a0 We didn’t stay for the Ace of Cakes Show because the food exhibit area was way too small.\u00a0 We had reservations to see Duff and the rest of the gang at\u00a0the 4:30 show, but left before it started.\u00a0 The picture is from a peak\u00a0at the 2:30 show.<\/p>\n

We had arrived at 1:30 to first experience the Cake Making Competition and Food\u00a0Exhibits, but there wasn’t enough to see to fill the time.\u00a0 Overall we weren’t\u00a0impressed.\u00a0 It seemed more\u00a0like a glorified swap\u00a0meet or Costco’s on a Saturday, plus a fair number\u00a0of\u00a0vendors weren’t fabulous or even set up.\u00a0 And\u00a0we\u00a0saw way too many\u00a0Salsa booths.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

All didn’t seem worth the $25.00 entry fee — And no one even asked for our tickets.\u00a0 People were just wandering in and out of all the open doors.\u00a0 The pictures below are of a few items we sampled or purchased, and a couple displays that caught our eyes.\u00a0 The Cake Making Competition pictures will be featured in a\u00a0future post, since\u00a0it was the best part of the event.<\/p>\n
