To become a “Bertolli Influencer” at the Foodbuzz Blogger Festival<\/a>, it was required that applicants\u00a0submit a MENU using Bertolli<\/a>\u00a0products — One Appetizer and One Entree.\u00a0 Bertolli and Foodbuzz<\/a> have teamed to offer a brand scholarship program to provide (10) Featured Publishers<\/a> with free airfare and transportation to\/from the festival, and accommodations for (2) nights in the heart of San Francisco.\u00a0 Please pick me. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Pictured HERE is\u00a0the 2nd Course of my\u00a0Bertolli Tasting Menu.\u00a0 As an entry, I proposed the following:<\/p>\n

1st Course (Appetizer):\u00a0<\/strong>Melt in your Mouth Meatballs<\/a>\u00a0with Bertolli’s Fire Roasted Tomato and Cabernet Sauvignon Sauce<\/a> w\/ a Garlic and Extra Virgin Olive Oil<\/a>\u00a0Crostini.<\/p>\n

2nd Course (Entree): <\/strong>Roasted Asparagus and Red Peppers tossed with Penne Pasta and Bertolli’s Garlic Alfredo Sauce<\/a> with Aged Parmesan Cheese and Pine Nuts.<\/p>\n

Although I propose the use of Bertolli’s “Garlic” Alfredo Sauce, the original was substituted here,\u00a0since the other\u00a0wasn’t available at\u00a0the store I shopped. Instead I roasted a bulb of Garlic in the oven and mixed in a few cloves.\u00a0 All was a flavorful combination.\u00a0 The (10) winners should be announced tomorrow, then Foodbuzz readers will vote for the top (3) menus to possibly be\u00a0prepared at the festival — My fingers are crossed.<\/p>\n
