I&#8217;m certainly a fan of that.\u00a0 Nibbles of Tidbits previously ran a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ineedtext.com\/FoodBlog\/2009\/08\/23\/could-these-new-aluminum-coca-cola-bottles-be-the-hit-of-your-labor-day-party\/\" target=\"_blank\">contest<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0prize was a case (24) of them.\u00a0 And since that time, I&#8217;ve\u00a0learned\u00a0they&#8217;re quite the hot commodity.\u00a0 You&#8217;ll never see them in a boring\u00a0grocery store &#8212; They&#8217;re way\u00a0too cool!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ineedtext.com\/FoodBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/Coca-Cola-003.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-9595\" title=\"Coca-Cola 003\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ineedtext.com\/FoodBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/Coca-Cola-003-449x337.jpg\" alt=\"Coca-Cola 003\" width=\"449\" height=\"337\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.ineedtext.com\/FoodBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/Coca-Cola-003-449x337.jpg 449w, http:\/\/www.ineedtext.com\/FoodBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/Coca-Cola-003-300x224.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.ineedtext.com\/FoodBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/Coca-Cola-003.JPG 1356w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 449px) 100vw, 449px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We attended a <strong>Coca-Cola Tasting Event<\/strong> at <a href=\"http:\/\/jdvhotels.com\/hotels\/venicebeach\/erwin\/\" target=\"_blank\">Hotel Erwin<\/a> in Venice Beach, steps away from the sand.\u00a0 It was on their <a href=\"http:\/\/jdvhotels.com\/dining\/high\" target=\"_blank\">High Rooftop\u00a0Lounge<\/a>, that&#8217;s broken down into stylish pod groupings overlooking the ocean and city.\u00a0 We missed the sunset, but the city lights were beautiful too.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ineedtext.com\/FoodBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/Coca-Cola-016.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-9596\" title=\"Coca-Cola 016\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ineedtext.com\/FoodBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/Coca-Cola-016-449x337.jpg\" alt=\"Coca-Cola 016\" width=\"449\" height=\"337\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.ineedtext.com\/FoodBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/Coca-Cola-016-449x337.jpg 449w, http:\/\/www.ineedtext.com\/FoodBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/Coca-Cola-016-300x224.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.ineedtext.com\/FoodBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/Coca-Cola-016.JPG 1356w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 449px) 100vw, 449px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>At this tasting event, 3 cocktails were made with\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.coca-cola.com\/index.jsp\" target=\"_blank\">Coca-Cola<\/a> Classic\u00ae, Coke Zero\u2122 and Diet Coke\u00ae, each mixed with\u00a0a different liquor and served\u00a0in its\u00a0respective\u00a0aluminum bottle.\u00a0 As common in parts of Europe,\u00a0drinks are made and served in the same can or bottle.\u00a0 The bartender at this par-tay mixed the drinks over\u00a0ice, then funneled\u00a0them back into the bottles before serving &#8217;em with a straw.\u00a0 They were strong, but good &#8212;
