A friend just had a party catered by a couple guys attending the Culinary Program at The Art Institute of California, Orange County.\u00a0 While sitting at a bar one night with my friend talking about a\u00a0networking party she was going to be hosting, our conversation was\u00a0overheard.\u00a0 We were discussing\u00a0food for\u00a0the party and what to do.\u00a0 And Randall, a fellow sitting next to us happened to be\u00a0attending the culinary school —\u00a0He sounded\u00a0knowledgeable about food and came up with some sophisticated suggestions.\u00a0 We were initially impressed.\u00a0 It was a bit tricky, since the party theme was PINK and my friend wanted all the food to be pink-ish in color.\u00a0<\/p>\n

To make a long story short, she ended up hiring him and\u00a0another student from\u00a0the Institute to make the food.\u00a0 We\u00a0ultimately decided on the following\u00a0MENU:<\/p>\n

* Asian Marinated\u00a0Lamb Chops
\n* Sweet Bacon Wrapped Chicken with Brown Sugar &\u00a0Chili Powder
\n* Polenta Cakes with Sun Dried Tomato Mousse\u00a0
\n*\u00a0Tomato Cups with Mozzarella, Basil and Balsamic Gastrique\u00a0\u00a0
\n* White Chocolate Covered Strawberries with Pink Stripes<\/p>\n

Well, the party was today.\u00a0 Randall and Ernest did a good job.\u00a0 They were professional and willing to do anything necessary to prepare the food to our linking.\u00a0 We appreciate that.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Another Chef, Johnny, associated with the Event Planners featured at the party, did a terrific job\u00a0BBQing the marinated Lamb Chops provided by the caterers.\u00a0 He even served them.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The drinks were also pink… Champagne,\u00a0Guava Martinis and Pink Lemonade.\u00a0<\/p>\n
