Since I like Houston’s<\/a> ‘Chicago-Style Spinach\u00a0Dip’ so much, I wanted to make it at home.\u00a0 I researched\u00a0the Internet and\u00a0came across a few Copycat Recipes, so I tried a couple.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I\u00a0combined and fine tuned all that I learned to decide on the following as my version of\u00a0the\u00a0restaurant’s\u00a0tasty dip, with a little more of the goodies —\u00a0Artichokes and Spinach.\u00a0 The Houston’s flavors are there.<\/p>\n

Recipe and Ingredients:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n

As shown above, first cut off the tough ends of the Artichoke Hearts (if necessary), then mix all ingredients together.\u00a0 Transfer the mixture\u00a0to an oven proof dish, then bake at 350\u00b0<\/span> for 30 minutes.<\/p>\n

1 (16 oz.) Bag of Frozen Chopped Spinach, thawed and squeezed or drained of all water<\/strong><\/p>\n

1 (12 oz.) Jar of Marinated Artichoke Hearts, drained and chopped (Unmarinated\u00a0is fine)<\/strong><\/p>\n

1 Large Garlic Clove, minced or pressed<\/strong><\/p>\n

1 Cup of\u00a0Mozzarella Cheese, grated (Jack Cheese can be substituted)<\/strong><\/p>\n

2\/3 Cup of Parmesan Cheese, grated or shaved<\/strong><\/p>\n

1\/2 Cup Sour Cream (Heaping Cup)<\/strong><\/p>\n

1\/4 Cup Cream or Half & Half \u00a0(Less, if too runny or<\/span> watery, add a little at a time)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Houston’s serves their Chicago-Style Spinach\u00a0Dip with Tortilla Chips, Sour Cream and Salsa, which is great, but at home I usually have it\u00a0with Stacy’s Simply Naked Pita Chips<\/a>.\u00a0 It’s hard to find a good bagged Tortilla Chip — But if you prefer the\u00a0complete Houston’s combination,\u00a0Have’a Chips<\/a> are recommended as one of the better packaged\u00a0Tortilla Chips.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
