The recipe is from my Niece’s Cookbook, Family Fun Cooking with Kids.\u00a0\u00a0And as declared, it is a\u00a0simple Bread, especially if you’re not the one getting your hands dirty.\u00a0 I supervised the preparation of this Turtle Bread and looking back the process wasn’t too bad.<\/p>\n

BUT\u00a0there was a time in the middle\u00a0that hands were stuck to the Dough and Flour was flying.\u00a0 There are no pictures of that in the book, nor here, since they’re not\u00a0pretty.\u00a0 But Oil up your hands real good\u00a0BEFORE starting to\u00a0knead the Dough.<\/p>\n

This post is another feature of Kids in the Kitchen with Bailee and Alexis.\u00a0 It was FUN to watch the Bread\u00a0rise and shape it into a Turtle.\u00a0 Its eyes are Raisins that expanded to look like Olives.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The aroma of\u00a0Bread\u00a0baking in the oven and the opportunity to eat your own homemade Bread are special experiences.\u00a0 We want to do it again.\u00a0 For the recipe enlarge the picture below, or obtain this creative Cookbook and start cooking with your kids – They have fun doing the dirty work, HA.\u00a0 It’s a win-win.<\/p>\n
