Wienerschnitzel’s Pastrami On A Bun.

Pastrami on a Hot Dog Bun is currently being sold at Wienerschnitzel formerly known as Der Wienerschnitzel — For some reason I’ve been wanting to cook Pastrami, so I tried this Sandwich for a quick fix.  And now I really want to make my own.  It didn’t taste bad at all, but I want to freely bite into a Pastrami Sandwich knowing there’s no fat chunks in it.  Is it just me?

Yeah, pastrami is supposed to have that much fat on it. Otherwise it wouldn’t be pastrami. My suggestion is to stop being such a stereotypical Californian and just go with it. Because it’s delicious. I mean, do you also want calorie-free bacon, or what?

Um, it’s just you, sorry. The fat is a huge part of it, especially for traditional New York style delis. We have one decent one near us and because we’re Californians they have to state on their menus that The fat will not be trimmed !!!”
